About
A small training desk for traders who want clearer candle reads.
Why we teach this way
Distributed Service API began as evening sessions in a shared office near Wynyard — traders comparing notes on failed evening stars after the ASX close. The practice grew into formal mentorship and workshops because pattern literacy improves when someone sits with you and questions every wick.
We treat candlestick pattern reading as technical analysis training grounded in observation, not prophecy. Markets remain uncertain. The goal is a calmer read of what the last few bars actually show.
Approach
Sessions stay small. Charts come from the instruments you trade. We favour chalk-and-talk markup over dense slide decks. Location rules — where a pattern appears relative to prior highs, lows, and gaps — get as much time as naming the pattern itself.
Who leads the sessions
Training is led by practitioners who have spent years marking charts for discretionary trading desks and private clients across Australia. Credentials in this field are measured in hours of supervised chart work and client continuity, not in software certifications. Guests sometimes join workshops for specialised topics such as gaps after earnings or FX session overlaps.
Values that show up in the room
- Honesty about ambiguity — some candles are noise; we say so.
- Respect for capital — sitting out is a valid outcome of a review.
- Local presence — Sydney rooms for those who prefer face-to-face; video for regional traders.
- Educational framing — nothing here is personalised financial product advice under Australian law; you remain responsible for your trading decisions.
